Overview of Membership Options
CAPNAP Member/State Member of American Nurses Association California (ANA\C)
- Members who join CAPNAP will also be members of ANA\C. This membership option will provide the nurse full membership rights and responsibilities with the CAPNAP organization, and if they wish, rights in the state organization, ANA\C. Our contract with ANA\C provides CAPNAP a discounted state membership dues of $50.00. This membership does not make the member a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA). Payment of dues maybe done by check or credit card.
- If a Psych-Mental Health Nurse has a membership in the ANA or wishes to join CAPNAP, ANA\C and ANA, the membership dues are $235.00/year (there are no additional dues for CAPNAP membership. ANA dues are $120.00; ANA\C dues are $115.00). If a member joins ANA and ANA\C and is a full time student or retired there are reduced state dues). Payment of dues may be done by check or credit card. Additionally ANA offers a monthly electronic pull from your checking account.
